Not only did Noah turn 15 last week, but he also has a girlfriend. Over the past few days...ummm a little shorter than a week, he's spent every day with her. Her name is Kristiana and she is cute, blonde and sweet. Tim and I took them to the mall to walk around a bit. They of course, did not want to be seen with us. So they walked around separately and met up with us at the agreed time. That was Saturday. Funny Noah was up by 7:15 am on Sat. and ready to go to her house at that time. We told him to go back to bed. He did leave about an hour later and was to her house at a very early time Sat. morning. We met her parents at a baseball game when picking them up to take them to the mall. Later when they dropped Noah off we chatted for awhile on the front porch. They let us know they're pretty strict with Kristiana and she must do chores, keep her grades up, etc or be grounded. So Noah knows once again that others have chores to do before getting to do what one wants to do. Last week when he went to her house she had to do her homework before being able to do anything else, so he tells me since he was just sitting there, he decided to do his homework too! OMG this may work out really well *wink wink*.

Yesterday we took them to get some ice cream and got to spend some time getting to know Kristiana a little better. She is an ice cream fanatic too! Fits right in! We dropped her at home and Noah walked her to the door. Later when we were at home Noah told me that he can't see her for a couple of days. I said Oh? He said yeah they said we need to spend sometime apart. I said who said that her mom or dad? He said Dad. I said that sounds like a dad protecting his girl. Noah says yeah how come Dad's protect their girls and
mom's their boys? I said I dunno guess it's just how it works. So this morning I said what are you doing today after school. Probably skate he tells me.

Tim is on his fourth week back at work. He is doing pretty well his wound is healing up really good. Today he has a follow up appt with the radiologist oncologist so we'll see what he says. He really looks good and everyone he sees for the first time says so. I wish I could post a pic of him to show you
, but my computer died and so the pic is on my hard drive. Tim gutted the computer and put the case to the curb for scrappers. The next day I heard a clunk and looked out the door and there was a scrapper throwing the case into his truck bed.

Well once I get some pix ready again, I'll post some here. I can post a recipe layout I put together for a recipe swap I am in. The boys always loved making this recipe and for awhile we were taking this to all the summer potlucks and parties. Enjoy!
