Okay I think I will add the photos after. I just lost the blog I was typing! I found a cool way to store stickles while browsing on scrapbook.com. I posted it to the Yahoo group I belong to. Then another member posted another way to store stickles. This way is more portable and it's what I ended up copying. At first I thought it would be better to get the stuff off my desk, but the portability factor won out. I couldn't find a large acrylic photo frame (holder). I tried the dollar store and JoAnn Fabrics, since it was nearly 7pm already and the streets roll up pretty early compared to Milwaukee on a Saturday night. I stuck with what I found at JoAnn's. They had their frames on sale for 50% off. I found 7x5 frames and thought those should work for two rows. The first one I put the first row of velcro about 3/4" from the top. So only the DB sugar coating fit on the bottom row. The other frame I put it up at about 3/8" from the top and was able to fit more stickles below. These will work until I find a 11x14" acrylic frame on sale or at a garage sale.

Here are some pix of Halloween. Noah and his
friends getting their scary faces on to go scare people. No, they're no

t going trick or treating. Hmmm how come Noah had some candy today huh?
Tim and Ian handing out candy.

A pic of the Halloween banner/garland and a photo of the 1/2 eaten pumpkin.

Yes, the squirrel did not give up! Once this week I went to check mail and peeked out the window on the front door. There he/she was with mitts full of seeds stuffing their little mouth full! I said you little monster and off he/she scampered!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Carmen,
My goodness those squirrels are relentless. They devoured all 5 pumpkins plus a gourd at my moms house. As for the candy... most of the treaters were way 2 old to be trick or treating. Seriously I couldnt believe how many like a bus load was dropped off or something. Glad you had a great 1st halloween in your new house. I am definately loving that stickle storage idea and will be keeping my eye out for those frames.
