Really

I have been creating! Well it only started a few days ago. I was in sort of a funk - loss of mojo or whatever you may call it. There is a lot going on in our life and sometimes it just catches up with you. So now I'm back to creating and I did a card organizer and an altered comp book. Tim collects genealogy information for his family and my mom does for ours. So I thought I'd create an altered comp book that is for family tree notes. I am going to be doing a craft show at a school and it's for kids to buy for their family, so prices have to be $10 or under. So I am trying to come up with ideas and also not duplicate others who are also selling their crafts. I found Christmas Planners over on Joani's blog. I did mine a little different I trimmed off the tabs on both sides and scored my manila folder at 4" from the center of the folder. They look pretty easy and then there is a site called Organized Christmas to print out lists to put in the organizer. Who doesn't need a list to keep themselves organized? So I am working on one now and will post as soon as I have it all together.

Here are pix of the comp book: and card organizer: I found instructions and inspiration for the card organizer here.

Well that's pretty much it for now. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I'm sure I'll be back to post more goodies tomorrow.

Great job on the comp book! I love it when I have those moments when you actually "find" your mojo again. That's when you find your most creative juices and you certainly found yours! Keep cracking at it :-)

I LOVE both of your beautiful books!!! I think you have convinced me to make a card organizer for my SIL...her name is Carmen too:o) She would love this!!! I would just have to add Mickey.

Our company leaves Sunday, so I am hoping to be able to get some play time in:o) Have a great weekend!!!

Perhaps making a couple extra Comp Books for School Craft Show will be a hit for ya. I would take them along, since you never know about kids. You find one who is also interested in Family History

Love the new background (blue) and this planner is to die for.
I have not done ANY scrappin since the last crop I attended. Life seems to be too hectic these days. I did get to spend an hour Saturday at Archivers. I was in Fort Wayne to help my Mom move some stuff. So I made sure to stop by. Can't wait until she moves because she will be soo much closer to Archivers. Hope I will get to shop there more often.
Have a great day.
