2 Weeks

I can hardly believe two weeks have passed since I last posted. I've been busy sending resumes, creating and being taxi for Noah. He spends as much time as possible at Kristiana's. She has been here a few times. Last night she came over had supper and we played one game of Yahtzee. She said she had never played Yahtzee before and of course who won? Yeah it was Kristiana. We teased her about saying she never played before and then won. She was cute honest I've never played Yahtzee before.

Tonight is the finals of Dancing with the Stars. Who do you think will win? Will it finally be a female and Kristi Yamaguchi will take it? I sure hope so as she does seem to be doing so well.

Friday we went to Farmington Hills, MI for our day trip. Our friend Cathy was able to join us. We shopped at a scrapbook store. She thought maybe she should do something for her sister who is graduating college next month. So we found an small acrylic album with only 2 pages so she bought two and will put it together for her sister. I emailed my sb.com friend Laura Solomon and asked her to recommend a good Chinese restaurant. She recommended Shangri La in West Bloomfield. What a great recommendation we all enjoyed our meals immensely. On the way to the restaurant I saw that there was an Einstein Bagels. I said oh yum those are the best bagels. Cath asked why? I said because they're light and chewy like bagels should be not bready like Panera. So on the way home we stopped and Tim bought a box and two cream cheeses. They didn't last long I think they were gone in about 2 days.

I've been entering scrapbook layout contests when I can. I keep hoping one day to be published in a scrapbook magazine. There is a card contest coming up soon too that I want to send an entry or two in.

Tim is in his glory. We have been networked for nearly two years. Now we have a NAS (network area storage). We all can access files that are stored on the NAS. The NAS has 2 500GB hard drives so we can save lots of photos and layouts! LOL Can you imagine anyone having one terabyte of storage? A few years ago I would have never imagined that computers would have progressed as far as they have with 300-500 GB hard drives, I thought 40 GB was a lot!

Time to add my recent layouts....

Barb & I May 2007 when we visited Milwaukee to see Mitch in a musical. I made this layout for her 50th birthday, framed it and sent it to her.

A layout of Tim using the Cancer Cannot poem and a pic of him from our first day trip to Dundee MI. Love that smile!

I did this flip book to enter a contest and to donate as a prize for our family reunion this year.

I am going to stop adding pictures here as I may be tempting fate as I believe Tim is still working on the network. The flipbook has about 10 pages. This one page was too pretty to put a picture over so I put a quote on vellum and glued that over the the print.
