New Year New Me?

On Friday I saw my primary physician and she went over my lab work. She still is very concerned about my weight. So she gave me a prescription for fitness. Something new I guess. I get 60 days of a club for $60/$1 a day. So today was my first day. I spent about 10 mins on a treadmill, 2.45 mins on a elliptical and 10 mins on an exercise bike. So almost 23 minutes... I love that they have a small tv attached to each machine, because you're watching and soon you're done or over your time! I go again on Weds. I figured 3pm would be good again, since I can pick Tim up after work. The trainer told me not to cut out foods because then you'll fall off the wagon and just crave them. He said to pay attention to portion. Still have your ice cream just use a smaller bowl. So hopefully this will all come together for me and I will be in the swing of it soon. I hope I can find another gym like the Y or snap fitness that I can afford after this is over, because I saw what they wanted for an individual and it's waayyy too much for me!

Oh my gosh!! I am so excited for you!!!!! I wish you lived closer...we could workout together....Can't wait to hear about your adventures at the gym.....and those snap fitnesses are popping up every where, hopefully you will get one in your neighbor hood!.....I know that you've been a great support to me through my lil' adventure....you can do it....

I think the tv or ipod is the key to enjoying the workout.. I get lost in my music, unless friends are working out with you, then it leads to good conversation!
