The sketch card swap:

The ATC: The theme was LOVE....

I really need to get the rest finished so I can start on this month's swaps!
Oh and while cropping with a friend last week I created this card for a friend who had a radical mastectomy last week. Actually they've been friends with Tim for a long time. I just met her for the first time in August. She is also a scrapper, quilter and works with beads too. Here is the card,
I used BG Sultry and the Cancer Cannot poem that my friend has as a stamp. I really would like to find this poem on a stamp. Well that's it for now...I'll be posting the recipes as soon as I finish them.

Carmen, I just wanted to stop by and let you know that the paper on my Valentine layouts is by Fancy Pants! I just loved it too!
Well, it is about time that I stopped in for a visit!!! I can totally understand what you are saying about time flying by too quickly!!!
Your ATC is yummers!!!! All I saw was CHOCOLATE...mmmmmmmm:o) What a decadently blissful creation, and love is the perfect sentiment for chocolate!!!
I also love the card you made for your friend. The soft colors, the beautiful papers, and the lovely ribbon are the perfect frame for this incredible poem. I know she will cherish this beauty.
The cards for your sketch card swap are fabulous and so much fun!!!! The papers you used are wonderful!!! I now there are going to be some very happy ladies when they receive these paper treats:o)
I have a swap to finish tonight, so I will try to call tomorrow!!! Has Tim added those extra phones yet? Hahaha!!! You know I’m kidding;o)
Love ya!!!
Carolyn
Great cards! Your "cancer" card is very pretty. Notice you wanted that stamp with that poem. I found it on E-bay, if you're interested (that's how I got mine; I'm a cancer survivor so 'had' to have it-grin). Long link, I know, and the auction is going for 3 more days.
