HM Challenge #27
I finally finished my HM challenge today. I found the Chip Chatter chipboard frame at Big Lots. I put it through my CB using the Swiss Dot EF. Then I distressed the dots on the frame with an emery board. I finished it off by making it a shaker embellishment. That was the easy part, I had a tough time coming up with a card design and even ripped the shaker off one finished card to make this one. I'm not sure I like this one either...it looks sort of plain. I'm open to positive suggestions to help this card look a little better.

Love the shaker that you made out of the chipboard! Great card!
I think the card looks nice, I don't know that it needs anything else! I've never attempted a shaker box...need to put that on my to do list!
I think it's lovely as it is, great layout and a great idea to make a shaker. But if you're REALLY not happy with it, how about a nice BIG green bow to match the card, I LOVE LOVE LOVE ribbon :o)
Take care & keep smiling

What a gorgeous Easter card! I love the distressed edges of the pink paper and that mouse is super cute!
I never thought of embossing chipboard. I love the look of that and your shaker is adorable. I haven't tried that yet either. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for stopping and leaving a comment on my blog...I love it when I have new visitors! Don't you love these meeces to pieces!?
I think your card is adorable, Carmen. I never thought to cuttlebug the chipboard either. Need to try that sometime. I'm glad I'm not the only one who rips the main image off my cards and does something totally different. :)
