Random

I've got quite a bit to post, I guess I'll do it over a couple of days. It'll be less overwhelming that way. Yesterday we celebrated Easter very small just the 5 of us. Ian called his Dad and wanted to come over. So on his way home from work Tim phoned me to let me know Ian was coming over. He then asked if I needed anything. I said No. Well I decided to make some julienne potatoes. I called Tim back and said could you pick up a box of julienne potatoes? He said sure. Well I opened the box laid it on the stove to get it ready to go once Tim got home. Tim and Ian arrived and Tim mumbled something about getting the wrong potatoes. I thought he was just kidding, but no, he bought frozen french fries. I said who eats french fries for Easter? He said I'm sure some people do, I said yeah those who eat at McDonald's for Easter. We talk about misheard phrases around here. I said you know there are misheard lyrics right? Well lots of our conversation in this house is misheard and Tim said yeah like 90%. I don't know how he got box of julienne potatoes confused with french fries. But we have lots of fries now! And we did end up having enough julienne potatoes with the box I had.

Yesterday I decided that I would create a layout to enter a contest. So I started working on it earlier in the day. I got close to finishing it and decided to re-read the directions. Well there was a theme for the LO that I hadn't seen before. Well I finished up the LO and am happy with it. I used PageMaps sketch provided for the contest. Here is the LO.

Tomorrow I'll post the LO's I did today.

If you'd like to read the recent news about Tim you can click here to go to his blog. I'm sure he'll be in good hands at the Cleveland Clinic. It'll be interesting to see if he'll have to go there and how often.

Speaking of driving. Mitch was called tonight and he
made the chorus for High School Musical 2. You can go to Croswell Opera House to see dates and times of the performances if you're interested in seeing Mitch onstage. He's pretty excited! Hopefully he can find someone driving from Toledo so he can ride with them.

Hope you had a wonderful Monday!

Your potato story is pretty funny! Guess you'll be eating fries for awhile! Great job on the layout...I believe this may be the first one I've ever seen you do! I believe I read the post you wrote about the photo's on that layout! (I remember when he was making that trip!) Hooray for Mitch! How exciting!
