Purple?--HM Challenge # 38

For someone who's favorite colors are purple and green, you rarely see me create a card with those two colors. I do not even have very much cardstock or printed paper that has purple in it. I colored two images this week and this one is the one that won out due to it's smaller size and how it fit with the scalloped circle nestabilities. Once I found the printed paper in my Pocketful of Posies stack this card went together pretty easily! I got the satin ribbon from Big Lots and the jewels were on clearance at Michael's - MM Chloe's Closet. I used Crystal Effects on the raindrops to make them look real. I used This one will have to wait for a sentiment as I'm not sure what to use it for. Smiles. House Mouse and Friends Challenge this week is a sketch.

I'm in Adrian MI at The Spotted Cow using their WiFi while I wait for Mitch to finish rehearsal for HSM2. It's a 45 min drive so I don't think it would be smart to drive back for 2 hrs just drive up again and it would really waste gas. I'm really hoping he can find someone to ride with. I'll gladly get them a gas card or give them $$. I mean they're already headed here for rehearsal....
I heard one gal exclaim that she's from Sylvania and it's only a 45 min drive. I told Mitch to get to know her and maybe see if he can ride with her.

OMG The Spotted Cow has fabulous ice cream! Their flurries are excellent and very reasonable. They have 19 hand dipped flavors and 24 soft serve flavors. Here is their website. Isn't that just a cute website!

Great card Carmen! Isn't it funny how we tend not to use our favorite colors on our cards sometimes? I'm the same way.
