Some Cards

I've been trying to come up with some quick and easy cards. I'd like to do some craft shows and hopefully make a little $$. My unemployment ran out and I'm just a little worried. I'm really grateful that Tim is able to work and that Mitch has a job. I think I might apply for a student job. I am a little nervous about how this will all work out as you can see. It's funny how stress plays itself out. Anyway enough of my blah, blah, blah. Here are some cards that I put together last week. Let me know what you think.

I really love the Core'dinations paper! Since the new Hobby Lobby is having a grand opening week they have different sales than nationwide. So their paper is on sale and I got a huge pack of Core'dinations Nostalgia. The Core'dinations used here is the Chocolate Box. My friend Carolyn sent me the Marcella K 3 D stickers and K&CO. mat stack so those got some use this time. :) The Halloween paper is last year's Reminisce and SU Halloween Paper from two or three yrs ago.

Saturday night after Mitch got off of work he and I went to see FAME. I really enjoyed the movie, but feel it didn't have the same impact as the first. There are some great dance scenes and you definitely felt like dancing on the way out of the theater. I remember loving FAME and wishing there was a HS like that when I was a high schooler. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd have a child that would attend a high school of the arts. Mitchell my oldest attended Milwaukee High School of the Arts. If you want to see pix of Mitch @ MHSA you can go here. (Images in Motion 2008). He's in photos 133 and up and then in later photos. He's the tall one usually in the back. I can't get over his super blonde hair in these photos! I was sad to have to pull him here, but since he had no place to live I couldn't let him stay in Milwaukee.

Enough of my chit chat. Hope you all are having a wonderful week!!

Your cards are just beautiful! I'm sorry that you have all the stress, but I know if you are like me, this card making sure takes you away from it for awhile. I hope you do well at the craft shows. You should, your cards are wonderful! Best, Curt

Hi there Carmen -- these are all gorgeous and should sell very well and I wish you luck with that. Hopefully you can put some of your stress into more beautiful creations.
