| Sentiment from Unity {Far Better Things Ahead (Grab Bag)} |
For today's card, I used some of my stored goodies that I forgot I owned. The Jillibean die-cut "You" and the Unity sentiment from the Far Better Things Ahead Grab Bag are the only items that are new. The rest are from my stash and have been neglected for far too long. Initially, I planned to create a shaker card, but that did not come out the way that I had planned. So, I decided to pop the frame up from the sentiment to give the illusion of a shaker card minus the hassle of butterflies that were too large and too much static on a transparency. Although it wasn't what I had originally hoped to achieve, I am still happy with the end result...especially since I realized this card also fits the color combo for the current Unity {be inspired} Challenge. :)
Now, that I finally have a moment of "me" time, I am heading to my crafty cave to pamper my creativity. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing weekend.

I like how you framed this sweet sentiment.
You know how I feel about this gorgeous card!! I love your color choices...fun and cheerful...just like you, the polka dots, the corrugated "You", the sweet butterflies, and the wonderful layout. As for the sentiment, you are someone who makes me "laugh a little louder, smile a little bigger, and live [a lot] better," and I am forever grateful to have you in my life and to be able to call you my friend. Love you, girly!!! :)
Very sweet card!
I really love how you framed the sentiment, what a fabulous idea!
You put a perfect design around this sweet sentiment. Love your colors and the YOU sentiment you've added to the corner. Great card, Carmen!
