Big Blog Challenge

I have added links to the participants in the Big Blog Challenge. I'm looking forward to doing the challenge and the possibility of making new friends. It's like having a whole bunch of pen pals. I hope I can keep up with the schedule. Thankfully on blogger you can write a blog to post in the future. So I can blog ahead of time if I so choose.

I've been working on organizing my scrap table. I hope to get the table clean enough to take a pic of so I can show my organization. We were at Tim's mom's yesterday and he was going through his stuff in the garage. We came up with a few good finds and he found a lot of clothes...some he can wear and some that he'll pass on to either Noah, his son or the neighbor kid. If no one likes the style we can always freecycle them. Gotta love freecycle. www.freecycle.org you can check it out. Just about every city has freecycle. Even northwest Wisconsin,
although it's usually in a bigger city or town. Give it a try if you haven't yet. Over in the garage we found a wood crate with Napa Valley stamped on the sides and I am using that for my ink pad storage. He said they were sold at the mall for CD storage. It's a smaller one maybe about 12-15 inches long and 10-12 wide. Tim has a few larger ones over there, so we'll see what we can use those for. Our place is so small we definitely need organization, but we also need space to put things too.

Tim has decided to not jump into Chemo again right away. He and I feel that the lesions on his lungs should be biopsied to make sure that they are cancerous. Lesions on the lungs can be due to upper respiratory infection, sinus infection, etc. Today he sees his primary doc and on the 12th he'll see the Chemotherapy Oncologist. So hopefully by then we'll have it all sorted out.

Here are some pix of the items I've made recently:

Swap cards for my Yahoo group

This one is a shaker card. The flower has tiny glass beads in it. This Fancy Pants paper is so bright and pretty!
I love these circle purses! I found the tutorial on www.stampingpro.com I used SU Designer Series Paper - Afternoon Tea.

I made 3x3 cards and envelopes to go inside the purses. I think I will add these to our Family Reunion prize box.
That's it for now....
