Today's the Day!

The beginning of the Big Blog Challenge started on sb.com. It will be interesting to see if I can keep up with the daily challenges.

Today we decided to have a cookout. Kristiana is already here and I'm hoping to hear from my friend Cathy. Cath and I are going to work on getting an acrylic album made for her sister and I will scrap and help out where needed. Cath is not a scrapaholic like the rest of us, but definitely knows that it will make a great gift. She liked the look of the acrylic albums when she went on a day trip with us a couple of weeks ago. She found a small acrylic album and some paper and embellishments. Now she just needs to put it together and well maybe get a few more embellishments and paper hehehehe. I invited Kristiana's parents over too, so we'll see how the cookout turns out.

Yesterday I spent most of the day working on my Making Memories contest layout. You need to use either Animal Crackers or Noteworthy collections. I chose Noteworthy as I really like that line. Thankfully I bought a little extra as I am not sure I like this layout after all that time spent working on it. How is everyone else able to put so much on a layout and it looks awesome, but when I try to do it looks weird??? Here is a photo of the layout let me know what you think.

I changed the photo to sepia tone and I added an oil painting effect. I just think I may have over did it with the stamping.

Well time to go check out the other blogs and I should really send out some resumes too! Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!
