Yes, that is what I have been up to. We're almost completely in this house! Got a few more things to finish moving and be done by midnight tonight! Hampering this a bit has been a contractor putting in gas pipe in the basement of our new house so we can hook up our gas dryer.
Things I learned from moving:
You never have enough boxes
You need more than 10 days notice to pack and clean
Moving for the umpteenth time doesn't make it go any faster the next time
If you let your man get the boxes from Uhaul, he gets the large ones, that if filled no one can carry. Only to hear well we have a dolly (handcart) which is fine for moving day but afterwards you're out of luck!
If you live with a computer geek god, you realize just how many boxes have 52,578 cords and wires in them! Ok, so it's not that many, but it is a lot!
Teenagers think they're helping, but often ask to go skateboarding or over to someone's house or mention just how tired they are from helping for only about an hour!
----------------
Well hopefully by tomorrow or the next day I can spend a little time being creative. Having my own scrap room should help! The computer desk still needs to be moved a bit so I don't want to put much on it, just to take it off--the desk is super heavy!
Thursday is Tim's last time for Chemo this round. He'll be getting a PET scan and then finding out what the next course of action will be. It would be nice if they lesions on his lungs shrunk or gone completely. I know high hopes, but I do my best to remain positive.
I want to showcase some blogs you should check out: (just click the link to go their blog)

Boy, can I ever relate!!! We just moved into our home in June...and I am still unpacking. The essentials are all in their proper place, but the nonessentials are sitting in the garage...too many spiders for my liking:o)
I am wishing you the very best in getting settled into your new home. My thoughts and prayers are also with Tim...no more chemo...no more lesions! I am following your lead and spreading the positive flow.
Hugs!
Carolyn
