Woohoo!!

I finally received my loot from BoBunny Press today! I was one of the chosen commentors on their blog when they were introducing the new lines that were coming out last month. I've been dogging the mail box for a week and a 1/2 now. It was pretty funny Tim answered the door and I was laying down. I could hear the truck running and thought my bobunny has arrived. So of course Tim had to tease me with it, hiding it behind his back. Anyway he said it came UPS I said I see that, he said but USPS delivered it! Huh? it was so strange. I had given BoBunny my new address so I could receive my goodies without delay. The UPS label had my name and correct address on it. The street address was crossed out and another address was hand written on the label. I tracked the tracking number and it was delivered on the 8th. The delivery place was Maumee OH. What? why was it delivered to Maumee when even the written address is in the same zip as I am? I guess it'll just be a mystery and actually who cares since I did receive my loot even if it was 2 day later! I can't wait to start a LO with this. I hope I can find the photos I have in mind and it turns out like the picture I have in my mind.

Here is the loot :D!

Tim had a PET scan yesterday and saw the Chemotherapy Oncologist today. The PET scan showed that the lesions had shrunk in size. Yea! He will be starting Chemo again soon. The oncologist also mentioned about having the tumor KRAS tested. I guess they keep the tumors or part of the tumor in paraffin wax. It's a little hard to explain I did look it up and also found out about the fightcolorectal.org website. So if you want to know more about it Google it. On the fightcolorectal cancer site I signed up to get their newsletter. I also want to send a letter to my congressmen/women regarding the Cover Your Butt campaign. I tried to put a badge here on my blog, but it didn't take. Tim was only 43 when he was diagnosed with rectal cancer in May of 2007. The campaign is to get coverage for people to be screened at younger than age 65. Medicare currently covers age 65 and older.

Blog Candy

My friend Cill hit her 1000 hits mark this week. She has some blog candy to give away.

To be entered to win this blog candy I have up for grabs all you have to do is

1. Post a comment on your blog linking back to this blog candy

2. Leave me a comment on this post answering these questions: "What could I do to make you want to come back and visit my blog more often?" "Is there something you'd like to see posted on my blog?" and "How often would you like to see me post new stuff to my blog?"

and then link her blog, easy squeezy! Good luck! Here is her link:
Skraptacular Designs
She really is very creative and you ought to check out her blog for inspiration as well.

I hope to get a chance to scrap tomorrow. I really want to since I have my loot :D. I have another photo that's been staring at me from a box and I hope to do that one too. Maybe I'll even use the BoBunny for that one too. Even though it's a halloween photo I like when scrappers go outside of the box and use different paper then what would normally be considered for such a photo. Understand? LOL like using Christmas paper for summer...

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend and thanks for stopping by!

I am soooo jealous! The only thing that I've ever won in my entire life is a TURKEY when I was 8 years old. Good grief!

Congrats!
