Happy Birthday Noah!
In about 3 minutes Noah will be 16 yrs old. He was born @ 7:53 am, I've always called him my Earth Day baby. He used to say I'm an Earth Day baby right mom? Noah's birth stats were: 11lbs 3 1/2 oz and 24 inches long YIKES! And yes, I did NOT have a C-section. That's the first question often asked after I told people his birth weight. Today Noah will have his friend Kristin over and wants to have brownies with ice cream for his cake. I think that's a pretty yummy idea. That's my favorite way to eat a brownie! He doesn't care what we have for supper. So I guess I'll have to come up with something. Although he may change his mind later. In OH you have to spend $375 or so for driving lessons to get your driver's license. I'm secretly happy that we cannot afford it at this time. Here is a fairly recent photo (taken last month). All of a sudden he decided it would be fun to wear a tie to school over a t-shirt. Remember when we did that way back when? I remember I knitted ties with baby yarn that had rayon thread running through it so it had some shimmer.

I also have some photos of some art in the park. In Perrysburg (think Commodore Perry) at Riverside Park there are 13 art pieces. I believe they're for sale to raise money for Perrysburg Arts. I read about it in Ohio Magazine. I thought that would be fun to do on Good Friday, but it wasn't a very nice day that day and we ended up doing other things. On Saturday I decided I wanted to try Sonic for lunch and then while we were there (the closest Sonic is in Perrysburg) we could check out the art in the park. Here are the photos of the art plus a couple of extra of Commodore Perry, etc. My favorites are the Monarch on the Daisy and the Whale's Tail. I wish I could afford the Monarch to put in my front yard.

Oh and I know I've already mentioned that I'm going back to school, but I never did say what for. I've decided to go into Cancer Information Management. It is a new program offered at Owen's Community College. I'm awaiting my transcripts from my previous colleges and still need to apply for FAFSA. I'm hoping to talk to an enrollment counselor either tomorrow or Friday.
And speaking of cancer, Tim has an appt at the Cleveland Clinic on Monday. Cleveland is about 2 hours from Toledo. He was told that the chemo he was receiving wasn't working. The lesions on his lungs have grown. The largest one is just under 2". The Dr. he is meeting with has a good reputation and won quite a few awards, so hopefully that means he's personable. Please keep Tim in your thoughts and prayers. Also in the Cleveland area there is a papercrafts store called Hollo's. You can purchase paper/cardstock for $1.25 a pound. I've been looking for some smooth cardstock and hope that we will have time to stop and see what they have. I haven't been there since January of 2008. They also have great deals on envelopes. I purchased my A2 envelopes there.
Well that's it for today...I know it's rather long, but I thought you'd enjoy the photos. Have a great Wednesday!!
