Cupcakes Anyone?

Remember Busy Beauties Boutique will be releasing new Busy Beauties and accessories on Dec. 3rd. Awhile back I won some blog candy from Curt. You really need to stop over at his blog, he's so very creative and is a master with the House Mouse, Happy Hoppers and Gruffies stamps. He had such a nice box full of all sorts of goodies. There were two pkgs. of K&Co long cards in the box. I was excited to see them as I've wanted to make some cards using the long/tall shape, but didn't really have the envelopes to go with. Well let me tell you, after creating 4.25"x5.5" and 5.5"x5.5" this shape is a little more difficult to figure out how to fill in the space. One day I tried and just gave up and put it all away. The next time after looking at more blogs, papercrafting sites I decided to give a whirl. It's kind of funny because this time I used ideas that were used on smaller cards for the long rectangle shape. So here is a sneak peek of the new BB Swirly Cupcake digi stamp using the long rectangular shaped card.

I came up this card between last night and today. This is loosely based on a Kristina Werner card. If you need some cards quick, you should stop by her blog she has been doing a card design how to video per day. Today she is on card #16.

And last but not least here is a 3"x3"gift tag I created using the BB Swirly Cupcake. I haven't decided on whether to punch a hole and add some jute for a hanging tag or to make an envelope.
