Of course I couldn't blog without showing you some cards I made recently. I got this Hero Arts Silhouette Grass stamp as a birthday present for myself. Then I looked up how others used it and and came up with my cards. I really like it embossed and the fact that I found some pretty colors of Stampendous Pearl Lustre EP helped greatly!

For the first card I followed inspiration I saw I believe on sb.com by embossing on MME 29th Street Market paper. I used Stampendous Pearl Lustre EP in Jade. The original was embossed in white. I added a glittery butterfly I won from Curt's blog candy awhile back. It's always amazing to me when I move what actually makes it! I used some leftover ribbon that my mom had a bag of ribbon and lace and wasn't sure what to do with it. I said I could use it for card making and scrappin'. The second card I embossed again but thought it was just begging for a sunny day scene. So I sponged a blue sky and a soft yellow sun. Of course it needed a glittery butterfly as well :). The sentiment is a KI Memories clear stamp that my friend Char gave me. I used my newest nestabilities Curved Rectangles. I really like that they are so large. I have the Cancer is so Limited poem and have had a hard time find a die that will fit the lengthy poem. But this one fits the bill!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful week!
