Today I'm posting a photo that probably won't surprise many, be ho-hum to others and maybe a bit boring all together. The best part of my day isn't my morning coffee, to be honest I only started drinking coffee about three years ago and I need quite a bit of creamer to make it palatable for me. I do love the smell of coffee, I always have. But no, it's not the best part of my day.

Yes, my laptop and internet are the best part of my day. It helps me to keep in touch with friends and family. I've also got to meet new friends through blogging and social networking. And though social networking sometimes gets a bad rap, I think of it pretty much the same as keeping in contact via a letter. People used to have pen-pals back in the day...people they had never met face to face, yet kept in contact for many years. Some even eventually got a chance to meet their pen pal. So that's the best part of my day, when I can keep in touch, play a few games, share photos and positive quotes.
