On Facebook there is a post called Creative Pay It Forward 2013. The first five people to respond will receive something handmade from you sometime in the coming year. So far I've only had three takers. Those who take are also supposed to post the same thing and pay it forward too. I think it will be fun to figure out what to make and send. It can be anything that is handmade, so I can send banana muffins if I so choose. One cousin posted do not be afraid to send some of your cards. So I will have to see what I can come up with.
I won a bunch of wonderful stickers from SRM a few months back and last Saturday I got a big box of goodies from Laura Solomon who went through her scrappin stuff and sent me what she isn't using any longer. How cool is that? I recently got a few photos printed so it hasn't been too difficult to come up with a few layouts.
This first one I remembered the photos but had only found one of them. I picked up the paper at my LSS Picture This over the summer or maybe it was early fall. Then Noah came out with some pictures in hand and this the one with Mitch offering the strawberry was in the pile. I was thrilled! This LO is extra special since my mom's parents were strawberry farmers and now my aunt Eddie has a strawberry farm or do I say field??

Glassine bags seem to be the new in thing. So I ordered some from SRM stickers. I like that they fulfill your order through a LSS. So I thought Picture This would be the one to fulfill my order, but it turns out that they are not set up with shopatron. So my order came from Scrappy Chic in Livonia, MI. Which while living in Toledo we decided to visit. Especially since Staci Compher was on the DT there for awhile and would always show such awesome things she picked up from Scrappy Chic. So one day when Tim had an appt in Detroit we left early and stopped at Scrappy Chic. So here is the result of putting SRM stickers and a glassine bag on a card front. I love cards and creations with non-traditional colors.
I know there was some interest in the tea holder card. So here is the link to the awesome blog that has detailed instructions as well as a video. The only thing I did differently is that when putting the tea pockets together, I trimmed off the upper score of the pocket so it would be less bulky when folding the bottom half of the pocket up and adding adhesive. Looking forward to seeing your take on the tea holder card.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your week is wonderful. :)

Great LO's! I haven't scrapbooked in a really long time...need to get back I to it. I love your card...those glassine bags are on my short list of want! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving some love. Have an amazing weekend!
Great scrapbook pages, Carmen - I'd love to get into scrapping, but have so many photos I just don't know where to start! Love your card with the little bag on the front - clever idea - and your choice of colours and papers is fab (gingham is one of my fave patterns)! Lisa x
