Cabin Creations

Hello Friends!  How have you been this past week?  It sure seemed like it was taking forever for the week to pass.  Probably because the previous week I had only worked three days.  Yes, I spent some time scrappin in the cabin.  If you have seen my previous post, I won a stay at Cedaroma Lodge in St. Germain, WI.  I was so thrilled to see a new area of Wisconsin and be able to spend time creating with my friend Dawn.  What a wonderful cabin we had and all the amenities from comfortable beds to plush towels and not only did the kitchen come complete with dishes and pans it also had all sorts of glasses from regular to wine.  If you need to getaway I'd recommend Cedaroma Lodge, this month and next are a great choice for those wanting to hobby/scrap/create... the snow will be melting and there are some great deals like 3rd night is free.  Check it out!

I mentioned that I would post my creations that I made during my stay at Cedaroma, so here they are.

The first thing I created.  I found this Sizzix EF at Hobby Lobby

I finally did a layout with our family - photo taken last March '12

Window card came together pretty quickly

I think I bought this paper 3-4 yrs ago at
Crafts 2000 in Monroe, MI

My grandma Alice with Mitchell 22 yrs ago or so

Once I got the letters cut out this came together quickly
My nephews with my oldest Mitch

This is the same visit with my nephews -
another March ('92) that was nice - meaning no snow
I am hoping to spend some time creating today.  Mitch has lucked out and scored a ticket from a theater friend to see Spamalot in Minneapolis.  He is also stopping with the friends at a diner/hamburger joint that makes hamburgers with a spin on the performance that is going on.  It'll be interesting to see what the hamburger will be named as well as ingredients. Yeah, I'm just at little envious, but so happy for him!

Thanks for taking time out of your day to come visit and see what I've been up to!  Hope your weekend is fabulous.
