Catch up

Just a quick post. Last week Mitch auditioned for a few different musicals that will be performed at the Croswell Opera House Theater in Adrian, MI. The musicals are High School Musical 2, The Producers, Rent and City of Angels. City of Angels is the only one I don't know anything about. I don't think Mitch does either. Last week Tues he got a call back for HSM 2. He was to be there today at 6:30pm. So I picked up Tim from work and we headed up to Adrian. It's about a 45 minute drive. There is only a short time on the expressway. Most of it is county hwy or country roads. So there is a lot of slowing down to 30 or 35 mph while traveling through various small towns. Of course today it had to rain and snow shower on the way up. It only misted on the way back. We stopped and got some supper and then while Mitch was there for nearly two hours we browsed through Big Lots and Meijer. Then we went back and waited in the car, while reading. I thought he should've been done so went in and checked and they were still going strong. So back out to the car. I didn't want to read anymore since I was driving and didn't want to be sleepy. Here is the link for Croswell if you're interested in taking a peek. It's funny, though it is much nicer than the Modjeska it still smells the same when you enter the theater. I guess it's that historic theater smell :D. Here are some photos I took on the 21st.

Adrian is growing but I was surprised to find that the closest Michael's is the one I go to in Toledo!! There is a Big Lots right next to Hobby Lobby how funny is that? But of course HL is closed on Sundays.

Noah is spending time with a new girl. He stayed with a friend last night and then I drove him to this girl's house today. He watched 3 movies with her today. Friday night he hung out at the mall and went to the movies then too. I thought he was just with guy friends as that's what he told me and this girl was hanging out with her bff. Well when I get there to pick him up he's taking forever to come out to the car. When he finally does show up he's with two girls. Of course it's the girl and her bff.

I went to SIT's monthly crop yesterday and I really didn't get much done. I didn't pack as well as I thought so I only started one thing and worked on a card. We played games as it was SIT's 4th birthday. And of course it's a pot luck crop, so there is always yummy food!

Next week Stamptacular Sunday Challenge blog begins. I hope you check it out and try out the challenges.

I ordered for the first time from PeachyCheap. I will let you know what I think when I receive the stamps. There was an alphabet clear set on Friday I believe, couldn't pass up the great bargain!

Have a wonderful week!

Morning Carm! Can't wait to hear how Mitch did at his call back! How does he think it went?

So...what movies did Noah see? Did he even get a chance to watch any of them or was he too busy gabbin' to his chic? LOL Teenagers...they sure are funny when they're "in love".

Sorry you didn't get much done at the crop...but don't feel bad...neither did I. It was a tough decision...crop or EAT. Of course, I chose the latter and boy was I glad I did! LOL

Thanks for the plug about Stamptacular Sunday Challenge! I really appreciate your support!

Talk to you soon!
Hugs,
Priscilla

Adrian is about an hour from our house! Glad you were in the "neighborhood!" I love those old theatres. We go to the Vermontville Opera House near us.

The card for Tim's mom will be in the mail tomorrow. I hope it still gets to her. I've been driving around with it in my car for a week!

That is so cool that he auditioned for musicals! I love musicals, and I really hope he gets some really cool parts.

I really like all the photos you took of the theatre!
