Once again I am unemployed and it does get a bit depressing at times. I do my best to stay positive. One thing I'm very thankful for is Brave Girls Club. I get the Daily Truth emails every day and they really help me to stay positive. I also go to Melody Ross' blog and read her posts which are inspiring as well. From time to time I comment. Yesterday I got an email from the tech guy at Brave Girls, an anonymous kind soul and Brave Girl gifted me the online course Soul Restoration 2. I'm so very thankful!! I truly believe with all the negativity surrounding me I truly need restoring. I'm looking forward to participating the next 6 weeks. So whoever you are please know that words cannot express how thankful I am! Well enough about me, onto the cards.
My Fall inspired cards:
The Happy Harvest one above was inspired by some cards posted on Pinterest.
This Thanksgiving card was inspired by a Thank you card I saw on scrapbook.com. Very clean and simple. I love to emboss so that's how I changed it up to be more "me".
This is pretty much the same as above, only I cut out a tree from some Imaginisce paper I just got recently. I'm thinking this needs something more, what do you think?Entering these cards in the challenges listed below:
Well I am guessing I didn't post my blog soon enough to enter the challenges that I wanted to :(. So no challenges entered for this post.
Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to visit. Hope to see you back soon!

Take care, sweetie! (((HUGS)))
Oooohhhh...you know how much I love these beauties!!! I only ranted and raved over them while we were talking on the phone. I really, really LOVE the first card with the cutout leaves and acorn...I'm gonna have to give that technique a try. I also LOVE the Thanksgiving cards...so very elegant and extra classy!!!
You are always a wealth of inspiration to me!!! Thank you for being my friend and for keeping me creatively motivated!!!
Love YOU!!!
Carolyn
Great Fall cards, Carmen, love the polkadots on the leaves. Sorry to hear you are without a job, so many people affected by our lousy economy, keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that things will turn around for you very soon.
Hugs
Sue
