Wow that is one long title! Sorry I'm late getting my post posted. I have been working on a couple of items for this release and got behind. I finally was able to finish one item and will post it now, thanks to the stickles finally drying :D. I decided to color up our resident snowman Jolly, doesn't he have the sweetest face? Just makes you want to hug him! I thought he would look cute on one of Lauren Meader's Box Bags.
So I pulled out the tutorial and this wonderful BoBunny double sided paper from one of their new Christmas lines. I believe it's called 'Tis the Season. Just love turquoise and red together! Since there is some green in the paper I thought I'd mat Jolly with some green Bazzill Bling using my Nestabilities Deckle edge rectangle. I think this turned out cute and am happy to have another container to put goodies in for the upcoming gift giving season.

I was encouraged by my friend Carolyn to give the Stampavie challenge a try. She says I know you like doing altered type items. She told me there was a bag tutorial by Lauren Meader and as you know if it's a Lauren Meader tutorial you know it'll be good. So I hopped on over to Stampavie from Carolyn's blog and printed off the tut. It didn't take long and I figured out what paper I wanted to use. I bought this Cloud Nine paper a year or so ago and haven't had the heart to use it. I mean photos on top of it would cover up it's beauty. I thought it would be perfect for a bag like this though, you can see it's pretty print/sparkle all around the bag. Luckily my friend Priscilla gifted me with some Sarah Kay stamped images awhile back. So I picked out one that I thought might not be too intimidating. I really wish I had a prisma color pencil that was the color of the aqua on the paper. I think flowers out of that color would have matched so much better. I did add some extra sparkle by covering them with Doodlebug Sugar.

Monday we were going to stop by a friend's on the way back from going to Tim's Karmanos visit. So I thought I'd whip up another bag and give it to her. She is planning on doing a card and bookmark workshop for cancer patients, friends and family this month. So I included a few more Cancer Cannot stamped images for her in the bag. She like Tim is a cancer survivor. I had this image of the bunny with the watermelon already colored and went through some of my paper and came up with this perfect one. It's BoBunny's Ella Precocious line from a year or so ago. Love the summery print! The Hero Arts Art Flowers and Petaloo flowers were the perfect addition. I forgot to include a ribbon. Charlotte liked it a lot and kept exclaiming at different times during our visit this is so cute!

So that's it for now. I hope your Thursday is fabulous. I have an appt with an advisor and later Tim goes to Karmanos for a CT scan, so I guess I'd better get busy.
Yep, I think Tatty Teddy's are the cutest! I wish I had some Tatty Teddy stamps, do they even have Tatty Teddy stamps? I'm sure someone out there would be able to tell me. Hope you all had a fabulous Halloween. We were out of treats before 7pm (Trick or Treat is from 6-8pm). So I handed out gum, then packets of instant oatmeal as Tim ran to Kroger's to get more candy. So 5 bags of candy bars, 28 pkgs of gum, about 30-36 pkgs of instant oatmeal and then the other 7 bags of candy bars. I think we might have a bag leftover so make it 6 bags. I stopped over at the Bo Bunny blog today and saw that there was a winner, I didn't think much of it. I figured I hadn't won anything. You were supposed to have linked BoBunny to your blog, well I've had them linked for awhile. So I posted on their blog that I had linked them and also posted a few more times this week. I saw that I had another comment on my most recent blog. Well I was Boo'd by Julia! So I did win! I think it's BoBunny Halloween goodies. I took a few pictures tonight and will probably post them tomorrow. I'm pretty tired I've had a headache all day with it starting last night, but it was last night like it is right now! I stopped by my friend Connie's last night (hi stance!) We traded our recipe layouts and I had a RAK for her. She also had a RAK for me. She won a Halloween banner and asked if I wanted it. I said why don't you give it to your grandchildren? She says I won't see them til after Halloween. So I took it and put it together today. Then I hung it outside just in time for Trick or Treat. Hope you had a wonderful Halloween and have a fabulous weekend!
Today I checked out the BoBunny blog to see the newest unveiling of their transparencies. Looking a little further I found out I was chosen as a winner for the Winter Whisper line! What a beautiful winter line and I look forward to making some awesome layouts and other fun stuff with this line. It looks like it pays to blog hop and leave comments. Our Third Winner...random number generator chose #50...
