Busy Beauties - Strawberry Lolita

Ok after seeing Sketch and Stash Challenge 21 I finally figured out I could possibly do something with this digi stamp Strawberry Lolita. She is one of the images from the new digi stamp company Busy Beauties Boutique. You can find Busy Beauties Boutique here. She was intimidating to me, I mean what was I gonna do with her? But after going to Sketch and Stash challenge blog I had an idea. In my head was the movie The Santa ClausE with Tim Allen. Weren't Santa's elves dressed spectacularly? So there is where my idea came from. Meet Christmas Lolita!

So what do you think am I crazy or crazy like a fox? I will be entering her in the Sketch and Stash challenge. I enjoyed making this card and even though the embellishment took me awhile to figure out I think I did okay. If you like the Busy Beauties please join us on Paper Craft Planet. There is a Busy Beauties group. Come and chat and show us what you create with these fabulous Beauties!!

Busy Beauties/Mojo Monday

I have a couple of cards to show you. I created a card for my friend Carolyn's new Busy Beauty digi stamp line. I didn't make it in time for the blog hop, so I thought I'd post it now. I'm not sure I like it, so you'll have to let me know what you think. I think the inking doesn't help, it only makes it look dirty. I really like the Back to School Beauty...I think it's great to have teen - geared images! So here she is...

I just love Basic Grey Indian Summer line! Such gorgeous rich colors. The sentiment stamp is Studio G. I cut it apart so I could use them separately. The leaf is a Cuttlebug die, I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby. Actually there were 4 different leaf dies in the pkg. My next card is for Mojo Monday 107. I was surfing the net looking for card sketches and saw this beautiful sketch and just had to create a card. This is actually my second attempt as I was trying to make the card by just remembering the sketch. I think this card turned out pretty good.

I might try this sketch again with different images/sentiments. More BG Indian Summer and Outdoorsy Olive from WorldWin. The sentiment is Inkadinkado and the pink rhinestones are Kaisercraft. Well that's it for tonight I really should be studying as I have lots to accomplish this week! Hope your week is wonderful!!!

Busy Beauties

My dear friend Carolyn along with her best friend Thomas have come up with some wonderful digi stamps and they're aptly named Busy Beauties. So named because like many women they are mothers, friends, aunts, grandmas, spouses, significant others and what comes along with all those titles? BUSY BUSY BUSY We handle the house, the kids, chauffeuring to and fro, making sure everyone has what they need and often thinking about ourselves last. So to celebrate women Carolyn and Thomas have come up with some great images. There are girls, teens and women. The amount of images at the moment is minimal, but don't fret there soon will be many more! Please join the blog hop that is going and and enter for a chance to win your own Busy Beauties. Stop by today you won't be disappointed!!!
